Subwoofer Isolators
DIY isolators and bass traps customized for my SVS 16-46PC+ subwoofers. Constructed of 18" diameter pine, 2" insulating foam, 2" rigid fiberglass, and black felt. Total construction time approximately 2.5 hours.

The foam will isolate the riser from the floor. Using a fine-tooth hand saw, I cut the 2" insulating foam into roughly measured wedges, 4" at the widest part. 2006.03.18

The semi-rigid fiberglass will absorb some sound. The 2" rigid fiberglass was cut into 9"x15" rectangles using a fine-tooth hand saw, and then glued into the center area using liquid nails. 2006.03.18
