Really Bad Chie
I went home for lunch today and Chie peed on the denim duffel bag on the couch! At least I know Chie is not shy of going to the bathroom anymore. I grabbed Chie and locked him in the bathroom again, showing him again that the poop goes into the toilet. The duffel bag and the cushion covering are in the washer. Now I am trying something more drastic.
I locked Chie, Asuka, and Niea all together in the downstairs bathroom with food and water. I am hoping that Chie will see how Asuka and Niea use the toilet and will also start using the toilet. I think I may need to keep them in there for a long time for this to happen. I hope it will be all right; I don't like punishing Asuka and Niea for Chie's problems. (Although Asuka might also be pooping outside of the toilet still.)

These three little kitties may not be as good as those that I had more than 20 years ago. I had three, all male. I was able to toilet train them without any complications. They had no problems what so ever; and they continue to go to the toilet for the past 20 more years. Never on the floor.
Since Chie was locked in that bathroom for so long last time you locked him in, he may be afraid to go to that bathroom for fearing to be locked again?
I didn't know that cats are trainable. Training them to pee reminds me of that one scene in Bruce Almighty where Jim Carrey gets his dog to pee in the toilet. Two out of three cats ain't bad in terms of the ones that will listen to you. So which cat is the one that likes to walk all over the couches during movie night? that must be Chie since he/she never listens to you.
